Run Baby Run movie deals with an attempt of revealing an exclusive news story by three reporters-Venu, Renuka and Rishy. Mohanlal plays the role of a channel reporter (Venu), who comes to Kerala from Delhi on duty. The roles of Renuka and Rishy is played by Amala Paul and Biju Menon respectively.

Director Joshi strives to make the movie a crime thriller.
